Offering a fusion of traditional country crossed with a gritty twist, Hillside Outlaws represent a sound and a way of life that is about embracing each journey, doing the opposite of what’s expected, and having good times along the way. Breaking into the country music scene in 2017 with a bang, Hillside Outlaws show no signs of slowing down. From their first BCCMA showcase to being finalists in the 2017 breakthrough project the year ended full of promise as they teamed up with BCCMA award winning producer, Paul Shatto. The following year brought forth a debut EP, Country Jukebox, a record that encompasses the pure sound of the group with the goal of introducing them to a wider audience. Their first single, Hair of the Dog, broke the top 100 country radio charts in Canada coming in at #74. The album led to 3 BCCMA nominations and a VIP after party showcase that caught the attention of CCMA award winning producer Jeff Johnson.
Teamed up with Johnson, Hillside Outlaws wrote and recorded Buckle Up which has garnered over 200k streams on Spotify. The music Video gathering over 10k views was filmed on location at the Ok Corral in Kelowna, a venue also used by Aaron Pritchett for his video, Worth a Shot. As they have developed their sound and fed their hunger for playing live, Hillside Outlaws are coming into their own as an emerging group that is putting forward the building blocks for success. They have become known for their high energy show full of action and adventure bringing a gritty vocal with a wild unique guitar tone. The dynamic between the duo will have an audience on the edge of their seats holding their breath and leave them with a hunger for more.
