The Prince Albert Raiders have made an early season trade with the Seattle Thunderbirds.
The Raiders have sent 2004-born defenceman Owen Boucher and a 2025 sixth-round pick to Seattle.
In exchange, the Raiders receive a fourth-round pick in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft.
Boucher was acquired by P.A. from the former Winnipeg ICE at the start of last season. Since then, he has potted three goals and 11 assists in 64 games for the Green and Gold. For the Raiders this season, the St. Paul, Alta. product had a goal and an assist in three games.
The sixth-round pick that the Raiders sent to the Thunderbirds originally came from the deal that sent former captain Nolan Allan to Seattle last year.
Prince Albert’s next game is Friday night when they welcome Tanner Howe and the Regina Pats to the Art Hauser Centre. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m.
